Ambient, Inc., including its affiliates, subsidiaries, or assignees (“Ambient”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), understands that our clients, Partners, Customers, and other individuals (“you” or “your”) place immense trust in Ambient when they share data.
This Privacy Policy describes Ambient’s practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information of an identified or identifiable natural person (“Personal Data”) belonging to partners including but not limited to Distributors, Resellers, Managed Security Service Providers, System Integrators and Referrals (“Partner” or “Partners”) and Customers (Customer includes the Customer entity and their authorized end users onboarded by Partner) processed through the use of the dedicated deal portal (“Deal Portal” or “Portal”), a platform supporting Partners in onboarding potential Customers. Ambient is committed to processing Personal Data in compliance with applicable laws, while taking into consideration the imperative interests of Partners.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites, services, or applications not controlled, owned, or operated by Ambient, even if accessible through our Portal.
If your company has engaged Ambient to provide Ambient products and/or services (collectively, the “Services”), your company and Ambient have agreed to a separate agreement that governs the use of all data collected and maintained by Ambient in connection with operating the Services. Unless otherwise agreed, the terms of that separate agreement take precedence over conflicting provisions in this Policy.
If you have entered into an engagement to undertake business with Ambient, we expect that you uphold the highest standards when handling Customer-specific personal information. If a Partner fails to do so, the Partner will be solely liable for any damages, costs, expenses, or claims arising from such breach. The Partner is required to align its privacy policy with the terms set out in this Policy and applicable laws in its jurisdiction. Partners must also notify Ambient of any suspicious third-party activity related to unauthorized data usage or potential privacy breaches.
It is the Partner’s responsibility to obtain Customer consent to process Customer Data by both the Partner and Ambient under applicable data regulations and this Privacy Policy. Unless stated and agreed otherwise, the Partner will be the Data Controller and Ambient the Data Processor.
Ambient is not responsible for information collected through other websites that may independently gather information from our website or Partner Portal.
Information Collection & Sharing
1. What Personal Data We Collect and Why
Personal Data is limited to name and contact information. Ambient will not require collection of unnecessary information unrelated to Partner engagement through the Portal. By accepting this Policy, you provide revocable consent for the processing of data as outlined herein.
2. How We Use Your Information
The Partner Portal collects information to:
- Provide and maintain the Portal
- Monitor usage for security and system performance
- Manage user accounts and deliver customer support
- Communicate updates, promotional messages, and important service notifications
- Improve and enhance services
3. Sharing of Information
Information may be shared with parent companies, subsidiaries, or third-party service providers for Portal operations. Ambient does not sell or rent Personal Data. Information may be disclosed if required by law or by valid requests from public authorities.
4. Data Security
Ambient implements security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of Personal Data. However, no internet-based system is 100% secure, and Ambient cannot guarantee absolute protection.
5. Data Retention
Personal Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

7. Media
If you upload images to the Portal, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors may view and extract location data from uploaded images.
